Aloe Vera is toxic for cats!!??
Answer by ChewyDec 02, 2019
The center of the aloe plant, which is green and aqueous, is safe for cats and dogs, however, the outer edges contain a white sap called the latex, which is toxic for animals. Aloe products and ingredients formulated for pets, like aloe vera extract, do not contain this latex.

Can I use this as a toothpaste? I know this is meant for dogs who absolutely hate getting their teeth brushed but my dog tolerates it. Would it be just as effective if I were to spray this on a toothbrush and brush her teeth?
Answer by ChewyOct 12, 2019
This product is a spray and no brushing is required. Just spray into your pet's mouth 4 times around teeth and gums.

Can senior digs use this and can it be used with a product added to water bowl?
Answer by ChewyFeb 21, 2019
For best results, it's recommended to spray into your pet's mouth 4 times around teeth and gums. This is safe to use with senior dogs.

Can this be used to clean my dogs jowls? Like spray on a cloth?
Answer by ChewyJan 18, 2022
This product is safe for application orally, including the jowl. Simply spray 4 times into the mouth ensuring that the product does not get into eyes. Spray tongue, front and sides of the teeth.

Freshens Breath

One of my dogs can't stand having his teeth brushed and has notoriously awful breath. I can't say this does much for actually cleaning the teeth (I really think you need to brush to physically loosen and remove plaque) but it certainly helps with his breath, at least in the short term, and he tolerates the spray much better than brushing.

Waste of money

Doesn’t work on teeth or breath, like it said. Used for a few days, but my dogs hated the taste and without seeing any results, I threw the bottle away. Waste of money.

no go from mini poodle

So I love the smell and looks like it does help the teeth but my senior mini poodle doesn’t like it. Too bad cause I am trying to help him with his dental needs.

Fresh breath

I get my dog’s teeth cleaned regularly but she still has bad breath so I decided to try this product. It’s wonderful! My dog doesn’t mind me spraying it in her mouth. Her breath is much better.

Important for health

Its important to keep your dogs teeth clean and free of tarter and bacteria. Bad teeth can lead to heart disease

Spray nozzle does not work

I'm not sure how well this product works because the spray nozzle sputters and leaks. I ended up pretty much spraying in my dogs eyes and the rest of the liquid leaked all over my hands.

Could be good for larger dogs.

My dog is small and the spray seemed too forceful. I think it might work well for larger dogs. Do think it was helping some with plaque removal.
