Alfie's always been a picky eater since he was a puppy but finally, at 1-1/2 years old, he can't wait to eat & the bowl is empty at the end of the day. The amount suggested wasn't enough for him to maintain his top weight so I adjusted another half of cup. He's a cavapoo (mostly toy poodle) & I give him 1-1/2 cups daily to maintain 10 lbs. I put a little bit of dog beef broth to make it a little moist but not mushy , he likes to crunch but his tiny teeth can't bite through hard food so even without the broth it's manageable! i love that this seems to be a much healthier option since it's slow cooked. And if he starts to get finicky & needs a change this brand has other options of freeze-dried food that I can give him. I tried giving him Stella food but it was a struggle to get him to eat it & i had to keep throwing left over food away. This fit the bill & so far so good, it has been over 4 months.My happy healthy Alfie approves!

I have 4 Norwegian Elkhounds, one of which is 13.5 yrs old and his teefers are a little worn down from all those bones through the years. Anyway, when this generously sized bag arrived, I danced a jig for my old boy’s benefit. He is 80 pounds, stubborn as a mule and will not eat mushy kibble. Yeah, I tried the old warm water on the kibble and let it sit trick. No. Anyway, about a cup and a half of this in his bowl with a good cup of warm water poured over it, then I let it absorb while I prepared the other dogs’ meals. I added about a cup of homemade dog food (basically chicken stew with no onion), and he absolutely gobbled it up. Absolutely great.

Bonnie really loved the Joy Fresh Chicken Gluten Free Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food designed for adult dogs of all breeds. The packaging is resealable, keeping the food fresh for longer. The product promises to provide a balanced, nutritious diet with a focus on high-quality protein and healthy ingredients. My 12-year-old Labrador, Bonnie, is quite picky when it comes to food, but she took to this one right away. She enjoys it so much that she finishes her bowl in no time. The kibble is a nice size, which works well for Bonnie. It has a pleasant scent, which he seems to really like. After about two weeks of feeding Bonnie this food, I’ve noticed a noticeable improvement in her coat—it’s shinier, softer, and less itchy than before.
