This has been the perfect treat/incentive for my dog! Cameron, my dachshund, was recently diagnosed with IVDD. He is undergoing therapy and is vet recommended that he has the right foods and treats. She suggested that part of this regimen consist of organ meats. These treats from chewy have been ideal. I can break them up and use them in therapy to use as incentives for him to do his exercises as a healthy way to to meet his goals. They are tasty for him, and I like that he's getting the nutrients he needs.

This is a great product! My dog went bonkers when i opened it. The aroma for interest is just right to get them excited.! Since its Easter season i filled plastic eggs and hid them and he had no problems finding them. He loves the taste and drools upon seeing the bag. This is also a good pill hider as well. No, its not soft but I easily slipped a pill in the handful of treats. No problem. This will be for sure a purchase in the future for Ruger!!!

Not just my dog (the pickiest of the bunch), but all his dog friends love this beef liver treat! I got the 16-ounce (1-pound) bag, and it is indeed quite large and plentiful for my one dog, so I shared the treat love with all his friends in the morning, and they all kept coming back to me for more. Because it’s a single-ingredient (100% beef liver), I don’t have to worry about upsetting anyone’s allergies (unless they have a beef allergy), and each beef liver treat is a good quarter-size treat. And while I haven’t gotten to the bottom of this big bag yet, they are all decent in size with no crumbles. While not a clean break, I am able to break the liver piece into a smaller size for the very small dogs or when I think my dog has had one too many!
