Questions & Answers

11 Customer Questions

How many are in a package?
Answer by ChewyApr 24, 2018
There are 18 treats in the Small package and 6 in the Large package.

It states feed intermittent or supplemental. I have been giving Gunner, 120 lb Bloodhound, 1 a day. Should I back that up to like 2-3 weekly?
Answer by ChewyJan 11, 2018
These Treats are intermittent or supplemental meaning they do not meet the nutritional needs that a food would. Each Treat has 94 calories and should be taken into consideration along with their food for the pets daily caloric intake.

How big are the large treats?
Answer by ChewyJan 13, 2018
The large stick is approximately 4.84 inches and the small stick is around 4.33 inches. There may be a slight difference between each stick.

One of my dogs is allergic to chicken but this is the perfect treat for her sister. Are they chicken "flavored" or is there actually chicken in them?
Answer by ChewyJul 15, 2018
This product includes Chicken and Natural Chicken Flavor as ingredients. Both contain the protein which causes an allergic reaction in a canine allergic to Chicken.

They changed

My dog still likes them BUT the formula seems to have changed. Used to be more bendable as we broke them in half. Now they are stiff and difficult to break and have sharp edges left. I complained to maker but no avail. They deny any change. My dog likes the flavor unfortunately or I would stop purchase. Maybe others should complain?

Dogs did not like

My two small dogs would not eat these. I will be donating them to the humane society

Anne enjoys these sticks....

Anne is a bit of a finicky eater, is quite spoiled now and knows she'll get her Get Naked "treat" only if she eats all of her food when I feed her. I love my dogs, have never begrudged them anything that made them happy but have to say, I'm disappointed in Chewy, the prices keep increasing and the consumer has to spend $49. in order to get free shipping which I feel is ridiculous to say the least. I've already found one item in a local pet store that I can just walk in and buy, won't be ordering that from Chewy anymore and another item in a "big box" store that I won't be buying from Chewy anymore. I like Chewy, but shipping prices are too high in this terrible economy.

not for me

I love the convenience of a joint supplement and dental chew all in one, but the edges of the shape are kind of sharp and my chihuahua doesn't enjoy chewing it

Great and easy for small dogs

My older little guy only have 10 teeth and a number of medical issues (arthritis, plaque buildup, previous kidney stones and more) yet not only can he have these he enjoyed them. I typically only give him 1/2-1/3 as he’s only 7lbs 1-2 times a week but he loves them!

Price keeps increasing

My dogs LOVE these chews. I have been buying them for quite some time. However, I will no longer order due to the continued price increase. I first bought these for just over $3 a bag. Now they are almost $8 a bag?!! Over $1 each. I have 4 dogs and uh, Billy. Nope. Sorry my buds.

Too pricey

My dog loves these but for only 6 in a package and more than $1 a piece, I just can't keep buying multiple bags at a time. I'm going to look for another brand that comes with more for a less price.

Sticks to teeth

I actually have to brush my dog’s teeth after he eats one of these. It sticks to his teeth and does the opposite of what’s intended.
