I live in the north/east so my dogs must wear jackets in the winter. This jacket is worth every dollar. Over the weekend I let my dog off leash to a new park that is near the water. He’s a German Shepard and golden retriever mix so I like to let him run free and he’s usually good about listening to me. Well this time he went rogue and ran through the fields, down the rocks and jumped into the Long Island Sound! It’s 30 degrees here so I know that water must’ve been a shock to the system because he paddled right back! He was fully submerged with the coat on, but when I took it off because I assumed he was soaked, he wasn’t! His fur that was covered by the coat was dry and so was the internal lining of the jacket! Highly recommend this jacket!

This is a great dog coat for cold weather
I just moved with my dog to the suburbs outside of Chicago from a warmer part of the country, I knew I needed a warm coat for Patches, my American Border Collie,
I just moved with my dog to the suburbs outside of Chicago from a warmer part of the country, I knew I needed a warm coat for Patches, my American Border Collie, she doesn't have a thick double coat like other BCs. This coat keeps her warm and I love the nylon outer shell and the fleece lining. The big Velcro closures provide for a snug fit. This coat was a great value too - it's very well-made. I would recommend it.
