Nice coat, not for hound dogs

This is such a well-constructed coat, but it was such a disappointment due to the sizing. My 80lb American Foxhound has a chest measurement of over 36” so I purchased

This is such a well-constructed coat, but it was such a disappointment due to the sizing. My 80lb American Foxhound has a chest measurement of over 36” so I purchased XXX-Large since the chest strap is always the part that doesn’t fit on him. The coat was enormous, swallowing up my dog and going halfway past his tail. I get it; most dogs are not built like slender, athletic hounds with super deep chests. I think the size that would actually fit him would probably be X-Large, but there is no way the chest strap would close. Back to the drawing board. As always, Chewy’s customer service was wonderful and I was able to return the coat no problem.

Good quality in material and workmanship

I love the teal color, quality of the material and workmanship and how it fits Calypso. She has hip issues and this jacket/coat comes down over her hips. I am hoping
