does it have a hole for the leash

There is no hole/opening on the Retro Sweater for the leash attachment. If your dog wears a harness, we recommend wearing the harness over the sweater.

Very cute sweater, great quality. I would size up at least one size (2 if your dog has a thick neck). I have a 22# French Brittany spaniel (MUCH smaller than a standard Brittany.) I order the medium per the size chart and could barely get it over her head. It’s also barely past her waist.
