XX-Small with X-Large hardware

I got this because it looks like the chest piece is crazy long, which is what I wanted. But the straps and "hardware" (the metal rings and the buckles) must be the same as are used on the X-Large. They're ridiculously heavy. Also, the XX-Small chest piece is *not* crazy long. It's barely 1/2" longer than an average harness - it's 6 and 3/8" down the middle. The back strap is only 4 and 7/16" (strap only; the triangular ring adds about an inch to that). The straps are 3/4". The triangular metal "ring" is 3/16" in diameter! That's huge for a harness designed for an animal that only weighs "5-10 lbs". The harness weighs 100.4g (3.54oz). A nearly identically sized harness with more reasonable hardware only weighs 38.3g (1.35oz). If I can, I will be returning this for a refund or credit - it's useless for a small animal. (Perhaps the X-L is perfect, but not the XX-Small.)
