harness fit underneath and opening to hook it ?

The GF Pet Winter Sailor Dog Parka has an opening on the back for the leash attachment. It's covered by the hood in photos. The opening does not line up with all harness D-Rings and does not accommodate the very large D-ring size. For the harness to fit under their coat, measure their girth while their harness is on. If the harness is big or bulky, we recommend sizing up.

Is the coat lined with real sherpa?

The coat is lined with Sherpa, which is a material made from polyester (fleece) and is sometimes called 'faux shearling’. Shearling is the material made from sheep’s skin, while Sherpa is always synthetic.

how does it fasten?

The Winter Sailor Parka uses GF Pet's patented Elasto-fit® technology and fastens closed with durable Velcro fasteners.

Is there any way to attach a leash to the coat directly?

I got my dog a Large coat. It fits him perfectly! He is a Pomeranian, French Bulldog, Mini Aussie mix. He is 23lbs and 16in long. The color is beautiful, although I wish they had red. It is made with Velcro straps, one under the chin and one under the belly. The Velcro stays together very well. The coat seems well made and sturdy. It definitely keeps him warm. I do have to roll the hood back a little because he can’t see if I don’t lol Glad I got this coat for my baby, Pretzel <3

Great, warm coat. I purchased the XXL when my pitty was around 55 lbs, 31” chest and 18”neck. Used this for several years, the adjustable velcro made it so she could wear it when she lost weight (age). Recommend and again, super warm and repels water! Easy on and off!
