I was looking forward to giving this to my anxious 4 year old chihuahua mix son, and I gave it a few chances to make a difference for him, but it never seemed to have any effect on him. It’s a powder mix of herbs and has a weird smell, which I guess is to be expected, but it doesn’t appeal to them at all, which could be improved upon too. I gave him the amount recommended for his weight and mixed it with some of his food. He is scared of the noises the pipes make when the heat is on in the building, and he was still very scared/anxious after having had the powder. It could just be my son, or maybe it’s not that effective.

I have a hard time with this product. On the one hand, and the main reason this gets any stars at all, my dog and my cat are both ridiculously attracted to this

I have a hard time with this product. On the one hand, and the main reason this gets any stars at all, my dog and my cat are both ridiculously attracted to this. If I so much as open the bag my dog wants to sniff it and my cat wants to smell it aggressively and rub her face and body all over it. My problem with this product is I have no idea how to use it. It is a fine powder and the bag just says “use on cats and dogs” with a weight chart. Use how? I went to their website and it says to mix the tincture with food but as of right now nothing specific for the powder. Do I mix it with food, rub it on their bodies, use it in the air somehow for them to breathe? I have no idea, and being basically a sedative, that makes me really uncomfortable. If like the tincture it gets mixed with food that makes it hard for things like thunderstorms unless you know well in advance, because my dog won’t eat when she’s scared of the thunder.

This product is a fine powder that you sprinkle on your pet's food. It has ingredients that are supposed to help promote calmness and help alliviate anxiety. I have not seen any difference in my dog's nervouseness or anxiety. Maybe it needs more time? I will keep giving it to him for a little while longer. But so far, I don't think it's helping.

I had been considering a calming collar for my cat, Grayson. He is 14, has pica, and has been meowing at rhe top of his lungs for awhile now. He stays in his hammock in the kitchen, while my other cat & dog all hang together in the living room. When he is alone in the kitchen, he meows to get attention. Then this product became available. I mixed a little in his food and it worked! He is much more calm and is not trying to eat things he shouldnt. (Somewhat)
