I used this test 14 years ago or so for my other dog. It was a life saver. I spent thousands of dollars prior to test changing food as she had many allergies and help with the guessing game. So, I bought for my new rescue as she showed allergies and this will help guide me to avoid certain foods. I recommend this test to all of my animal friends. It’s nice to get from Chewy now. Thanks for this great test.

This was so helpful to find out the things my dog was highly allergic to. A lot of things listed very high on food items I gave to my dog thinking it was good for him. An eye opener for sure. I hope that I can find food with limited ingredients that don’t have any item in it that my dog is reactive to. I would highly recommend this test to anyone having skin issues, allergies.

I’ve done dog dna tests before but never a sensitivity one! I’m really glad I tried it. My dog has been dealing with constant itching and some ear issues, and nothing I’m doing seems to help. The test was super easy to do, just a saliva and hair sample, and the results came back quickly. It showed sensitivities to a few foods I had no idea were causing issues. Some of things that showed up were interesting. I’ve done a different kind of test in the past which showed lamb being sensitive and this one showed that as well so I’m pretty confident she doesn’t do well with that as I’ve cut lamb out of her diet.

The test was easy to perform. It required a little hair and a cheek swab. The results were emailed back to me within the expected timeframe. They revealed some surprising sensitivities including chicken (which is the main meat I feed our cats) and grains (corn, barley, wheat). I’m going to alter my cat’s diet to see how this helps him and will get one of their recommended supplements to improve his health. I don’t anticipate fully removing chicken and tuna from his diet but I’ll search for other meats for him to eat. The energetic imbalances are confusing; it seems that he has almost all of them. I’m not sure how to interpret that section to improve these, overall, the information has been helpful when choosing foods and treats for the cats. There’s a lot of information in this test so I’ll need some time to review everything again. I’ll likely get a test for our other cat to see if he has similar sensitivities and put together a diet to satisfy both of their needs.

This allergy test was simple and quick to use. It gave us some amazing info about our dog Missy, a 12 year old pitbull, that we couldn’t have easily discovered without it. After years of dealing with chronic ear infections, countless trips to the vet, a dozen ear medications that never worked, and diets that weren’t targeting the right ingredients, we can finally pinpoint the foods she’s allergic to. Turns out she’s highly allergic to a few ingredients our vets never even mentioned as possibilities: salmon oil, mussels, and even glucosamine. All three of these things we have been adding to her meals for years, with no idea they could be causing her issues. We’re so excited to finally cut out these ingredients, and start healing her from the inside out. The other great thing about this allergy test is that it shows low-level allergens too, so you can start eliminating those items as well. The test itself was easy to use and turn around time for the results very fast. Highly recommend this test!

I loved getting to learn more about my pup through this! The process was extremely easy and quick. My pup did not really enjoy his mouth being swabbed, but they gave a tip to do all of them together. Getting the fur clipping was much smoother. After sending in the samples it only took a few days for them to give me a confirmation email that they received everything and then just another few days after that to get the results. I was pretty impressed with just how many things a little saliva and fur can test for! Quite a few allergens that I never even thought of. My pup doesn't have the most obvious signs of allergies besides being a bit itchy, but thanks to this test we can switch up his diet and try some other protein sources. I would have never guessed he was allergic to chicken and of course that was what I was feeding him. I love that I don't need to start with an elimination diet and take the time to do it. This is a great way to get a nice point in the right direction with narrowing down what allergies your pet may have in a much faster way.

This was easy to use, easy to collect the specimen for test. I gave feedback to the company directly about their request to take a photo of tracking number prior to returning. My opinion, it needs to be mentioned everywhere it talks about sending the sample back.I did not do that, because I didn't see it until after I had put it in the mail. But in this case there was no issue and our results were provided quickly. There is a lot of raw data provided, and without a lot of specific interpretive guidelines, and recommended interventions.. Such as moderate sensitivity to a certain food... how would that sensitivity present itself? And what might I do about it? Or if my dog has issues with yeast? What does that mean? I believe it does say it is not a diagnostic tool, but a statement (or several) to discuss the findings with your vet would be good. It is not intended to be a treatment guide for people to self-treat their pets, again, refer to their pet care provider.. The problem with that, of course, is a lot of vets are more inclined to treat with drugs rather than holistically.

I recently used the Glacier Peak Pet Intolerance Test for my 5-year-old dog, Dillion, and was impressed by how thorough and informative the process was. The test is designed to identify food, environmental, and energetic sensitivities in pets so you can make better choices for their diet and lifestyle. The process was simple: I collected hair and saliva samples from Dillion and mailed them in. The lab used biofeedback technology to check his energetic responses to more than 300 different items. The report I received broke everything down into clear categories—proteins, grains, fruits, vegetables, oils, nuts, dairy, legumes, environmental factors, and more—marking each as a moderate or high sensitivity. For Dillion, the results showed sensitivities to several proteins (like beef, chicken, and fish), certain fruits and vegetables, some grains, oils, nuts, and various herbs and spices. It also flagged environmental triggers such as certain trees, weeds, dust, insects, and chemical exposures. On top of that, the test identified “energetic imbalances” like inflammation, mold, pesticides, and yeast overgrowth, which may be contributing to his symptoms. What I really appreciate is that the report didn’t just list sensitivities—it also provided next steps. It suggested removing identified food triggers for 60 days, reducing exposure to environmental irritants, and addressing underlying issues with holistic support such as probiotics, detox aids, and anti-inflammatory supplements. It even gave recommendations for natural products that could help. Overall, I found the Glacier Peak Pet Intolerance Test to be an incredibly useful roadmap for improving Dillion’s health. It gave me a clear plan for adjusting his diet, addressing possible hidden stressors, and supporting his immune system. While it’s not a medical diagnosis, it’s an excellent tool for anyone looking to get to the root of their pet’s sensitivities and make informed decisions for their long-term wellness.

Life saver

My boxer was having stomach issues, seizures and all around not acting normal. I shared this info.with a friend and she recommended this test I wish I knew sooner

My boxer was having stomach issues, seizures and all around not acting normal. I shared this info.with a friend and she recommended this test I wish I knew sooner after thousands of dollars on heart tests. No more seizures and we know what to do when she eats something she shouldn't or takes her heartworm. They don't make flavor free so monthly she has issues. When she eats something she shouldn't her belly fulls with gas. I hope this helps someone else. We are getting one for our cat now
