Glad For Pets Activated Carbon Dog Training Pads offer potty pads with a name you trust. These carbon-activated pads are made with five layers of Glad-level strength for leak-proof protection and odor neutralization. The quilted technology works to lock in up to three cups of liquid, preventing spreading and stains, while the polymer layer turns the liquid into gel. The activated carbon layer is designed to absorb all odor and yellow spots, leaving nothing but an easy-to-toss pad behind. These pads are perfect for training puppies or new dogs, helping out senior dogs, or even lining your crate or carrier.

This is my second purchase of these pads. I liked them at first, so I repurchased. However, this time even though they absorb fast, you cannot see the wetness. Each and every member of my family almost had a severe accident due to this imperfection. They do not hold all the wetness and the pee goes all over the floor and they constantly move. The upside.......my dog had no problem with them. Glad needs to improve this product immensely or discontinue it all together.
Can't tell when used

They absorb well, are heavier than most of the bargain brands, but while some people were pleased that you couldn't see the pee stains on them, I find that to be a negative. My puppy peed on the floor 3x after using these for the 1st time today. Either she doesnt like them or it's because she doesn't like to use any pad after it's been soiled more than a couple times, and I can't see how many times she used it. She's a teacup Chihuahua, so her pee's are very small. I will go back to the bargain brand and use these underneath I guess.
The Best Bang For Your Buck!

These pads are the best! I’ve tried several other brands and none of them measure up... these pads soak up all of my puppy’s pee without leaking a single drop! And the price is right too... I’ve paid twice as much $$ for half as many pads with other brands, and they were not nearly as absorbent!
Don't waste your money!

I would not recommend these at all. These have been the worse pads we have ever used. They get all wet underneath with one pee and my dogs don't seem to care for them either as they would use any of the other ones we bought before but with these they hesitate to even use them. Idk if it's the odor they have or the color. We have been having to double up on them since they are so thin and even that isn't working well. So disappointing and a waste of money.
Great for old cats!

My cat is 16 and she stopped using the litter box 3 years ago. I tried multiple different pads but the smell was horrible until I came upon this brand. I put a pad holder under to prevent any leaks, this pads absorb super fast and they take away the cat pee smell. I will never use anothe brand of pee pee pads.
Yes you can tell

I almost didn’t buy due to other reviewers saying they couldn’t tell when the pad was used. I feel it’s quite obvious and the absorbancy is as good as any other pad I’ve tried. 5 stars for being as effective as any other pad without being white with bright blue trim.
Glad p pads bad

I thought I’d try a trusted name brand very disappointed. Pad feels wet when I pick up soiled pad. I don’t know where the quilting is they talk about. Have accidents because it is so thin. I have 3 more cases to use can’t wait til they are used up. Chewys other brand much better. Sorry glad I tried

My guy is potty trained, but the nights get long and I sometimes have to stay late at work, so I leave a potty pad out for him.
He refuses to use these, instaid going on the floor right next to the holder.
Besides that, they stink in and of themselves, and don't control the odor from when he does use the pad.
I feel like I'm starting training over with these pads, which is disappointing as I trust the Glad brand.
Glad training pads

These are very absorbent pads. I was afraid when I saw how dark the grey was, that my dogs would not use them easily. However they had no difficulty at all. When the dogs first use them, the spot is very noticeable. The only downside is that it does re-absorb very well, and it is hard to tell when a pad should be changed. That is why I gave it one less star.

These are absolutely horrible. First they do not help with smell at all like they are supposed to. Second they do not and I mean do not absorb anything! The urine just sits on them and rolls off and under them and leaves me a huge mess. I have never had a training bad so I’m absorbent ever. Would never recommend or buy again. Would like to toss mine all in the trash
