Amazing
I researched many tanks and ended up picking this one. It does everything. The heater is preset to 78 degrees! Perfect for my betta. The thermometer is amazing and
I researched many tanks and ended up picking this one. It does everything. The heater is preset to 78 degrees! Perfect for my betta. The thermometer is amazing and sticks to the side of the tank! The dual light mode is amazing and really makes Boba shine! The tank is perfect! Only thing is I replaced the filter with a low flow filter due to reviews saying that the filter was too strong for Bettas. The tank itself doesn't leak at all, my only possible complaint is that the sides of the tank are reflective from the inside only. Boba started chasing his reflection but soon found peace with it and started "playing" with his reflection, keeping him entertained (my only possible complaint ended up being positive)! Overall this was a 6 out of 5 scenario, especially with the $50 price tag I got it at (discount, this item is discounted pretty often).

Don’t buy! Doesn’t come with the right filter, filter it came with is huge and doesn’t fit with lid on, also the light it came with doesn’t work

Had it for about 3 days on a secured stand all of a sudden started leaking water I took out all the water to find a huge crack along the bottom glass I investigated

Do not buy for glofish
Bought this as it is supposed to be a good beginner tank. You would think that it would be good for glofish however glofish recommends 1 fish per 10 gallon tank

I’m using this 5 gallon kit for my betta. The filter is too strong for them, but I have an air pump filter, so that didn’t bother me; that said, if you’re using
I’m using this 5 gallon kit for my betta. The filter is too strong for them, but I have an air pump filter, so that didn’t bother me; that said, if you’re using this tank for aquatic life that needs low flows, you will need a different filter. The heater works fine, but I again have a different heater in this tank. I have a couple of these heaters that came with the kit, and they work, but you cannot control the temperature. For the lighting, I wouldn’t say I liked the blue moonlight at first, but I decided to make this tank fully planted, and of course, now I like the blue light, lol. Overall, this is a good bang for your buck regarding tank size and what the kit includes. I think it’s worth the money regardless of the life you’re keeping in here with a few modifications, but modifying is part of the hobby!
