What’s the size of the kibble?

The kibble size of this food is smaller than the medium, standard-size kibble often seen. It should be noted that since Go! Solutions formulates their recipes using real-food, natural ingredients, they do expect to see some slight variation in the kibble size from time to time.

Of the 28% protein, how much is from meat?

It is important to understand that dogs need nutrients, not specific ingredients. When creating a complete and balanced recipe, meat inclusion is not a relevant factor. Pets do not have a requirement for meat, they have a requirement for amino acids that come from meat (or plant) protein. The pet’s body does not recognize the difference between an amino acid from plants versus meat. Meat also does not provide all the nutrients pets need, so higher meat inclusion does not mean a nutritionally superior food. When formulating a food for dogs or cats, we must ensure that every recipe is complete and balanced to meet the nutritional requirements of the pet. These requirements can be met using a variety of ingredients from both plant and animal sources. At Petcurean, all our recipes are formulated by our team of qualified and passionate nutritionists, each with at least six years of post-secondary education specializing in nutrition.

Great Food for our growing puppy

One protein source

Great for sensitive puppies

I have a large breed puppy who has food allergies. Additionally, he was altered too young by the rescue we adopted from so our vet is very concerned about the long term health of his joints and such. She strongly recommended we find not only a limited protein diet but also one for large breeds that would have higher levels of joint support nutrients. I had to search several times before finding this brand and it was the only one that met all of our needs. So first I’m grateful for GO! Making a limited protein, large breeds puppy food. Additionally my boy loves this food and gobbles it down! I will definitely recommend this to others and plan to keep him on this brand as he grows into a healthy, happy pup!
