not for heavy chewers
This toy is super cute, but not plush as the photo suggests. My dog loves to chew and was able to chew the tail off quite easily. Would not recommend for heavy chewers. This toy would be better for gentle play
Unstuffed
My dogs have had several of the GoDog toys with "Chew Guard" & love them...they are much sturdier than a standard stuffy but this dragon arrived without all his stuffing. His head, arms, & lower legs were full but the rest of his body was unstuffed. I reached out to Chewy about it but never got a response.
Favorite Toy Brand
This company makes excellent quality toys. The squeakers work and are easy for even a small puppy to "squeak". Some other brands don't have good squeakers at all. The seams are strong and there is minimal stuffing inside so not much worry about it popping out. The "critters" are so cute!
Favorite toy
This toy quickly became my dog's favorite toy and I appreciated that it lasted for about 2 months with daily play before her and her pup bestie played tug of war with it and ripped it in half. I was happy it lasted that long, honestly, since other plushies were lasting only a couple of days. Anyway, I bought 2 more just so I could have an extra as a back up. I purchased it on 7/14, received it on 7/15, and it ripped open on 7/16. I'm disappointed as I'm not sure how one could last so long and the other only lasted a day with barely any play time.
MY DOG MADE MINCEMEAT OUT OF THESE TOYS
I was hopeful, but no go! My smaller dog destroyed these toys in 20 minutes. It was pretty scary because she pulled out the squeaker right away. It was unbelievable!
Depends on your dog
I have a 2 year old aggressive chewing pit bull who loves this toy! The first day he did rip threw it so we pulled out the fluff and squeaker but let him the keep the rest of it and he still plays and sleeps with at night♡
Not Durable
Not durable! My dog ripped it the first day she had it. Took out all of the stuffing and the squeaker. Now it’s just an empty toy. Would not recommend for big dogs. She loved it when she got it too! Only reason I bought it was because it was advertised as being durable.
Great toys
GoDog plush toys are my go-to for these types of toys, and this dragon is a typical example of what GoDog does right. They are tough (no toy will stand up to a dog intent on destroying it, but these last longer than most at my house) though unlike many tough toys they are soft and floppy, not stiff as a board. That apparently makes them much more fun for dogs to sling around. There are plenty of squeakers and they also last a long time -- that's both good and bad, as any dog person would know.
Puppies new favorite toy!
My puppies love this toy, it's big enough for both of them to bite on and the durable material doesn't rip easily. Definitely will be buying again
Ripped it up in minutes
I had high hopes for this toy, but even with the reinforced material, my lab ripped a decent sized hole in it within minutes.
