The usefulness of this product far outweighs the bad, petty reviews. I’ve used everything! 2cats sleep on my comforter & this sponge takes all hair off. Yes, it smells funny but does not transfer smell. Some tiny flecks of sponge may come off if you use on heavy textured items but very minimal & flecks swipe off easy. Do NOT use with water. Not a sponge! Doesn’t hold water & won’t remove hair if wet. I have one in every room for upholstery & bedding. Best thing I’ve ever used.

If you just want a quick swipe of your shirt or slacks it works ok. I wouldn't recommend trying to clean furniture or even stair runners with it. Its just a rubber sponge and does not really clean the hair up, it just wipes it off as in the hair will be still floating around. Some hair does stick to the sponge but mostly not.

This is fantastic! I have a Maine Coon kitty (adopted) who has fur like spiderwebs. He is also a ginger so I have blonde/white “spiderwebs” all over my furniture. With one swipe with my Gonzo, the cat hair is wiped away. It’s incredible. It is not sticky, it is not crumbly, you don’t have to get it wet, it’s like a rubber sponge. I cannot recommend this highly enough!

It looks like a piece of a gym mat. Just a thick piece of rubber foam & smells like rubber too. I like that it is reuseable. It helps, but it won't get every hair. I feel cleaner after using a sticky lint roller instead. Wish it smelled better & worked better.

I’ve used these (and loved them) for years. I first stumbled onto them when I showed and bred long-haired cats. At times my furniture looked snow-covered. Fortunately I found these-or something like them-at a cat show. Marvelous results—even stopped my sneezing. Wouldn’t be without them.

It works about as well as anything gathering up accumulated fur . Only draw back are sometimes little yellow particles left behind , but those vacuum up.

This was fine and it gathers hair but you have to clean it off multiple times or you just smear hair around. It takes a minute to clean off as well. A lint roller is much more effective but this is more environmentally friendly. Pick your battle I guess...it does work...but it’s not “magic” ha

I have tried every product known to man to get my Cats’ fur off of my furniture, bed spread, etc. these are the BEST. They may look like sponges, but do NOT get them wet. They last for years.

Didn’t help much to use on clothing or dog bed - maybe I’m not using it right.. but it’s large and bulky .. works great for wiping down hard flat surfaces. Don’t recommend it for fabrics.

This is the best pet hair remover I have ever used. I have had an old one for years and loved it. It was time for a replacement and I am glad that Chewy carries this item. It really works!
