Comfortable fit and easy to use
This is the only harness we have found that fits our girl well and isn’t difficult and fussy to use. The fabric lays flat so that she can rest comfortably with it
This is the only harness we have found that fits our girl well and isn’t difficult and fussy to use. The fabric lays flat so that she can rest comfortably with it on during the day and there aren’t excessive buckles and handles all over it. No scary Velcro sounds. It slides on over the head vs stepping into it and then snaps on up over the back on each side. There’s a single ring that makes clipping the leash on quick and easy (vs double ring designs). These are only made for smaller breed dogs, but she has been wearing them since she was a puppy and now is wearing a size large and is 25#. These are not meant to decrease pulling and probably make it a lot more comfortable to pull because of the fit and the elastic band (absorbs shock from sudden movement) that the leash clips to.

We have a shepherd mix that can get out of just about any harness we've put on her. The way this one is made, she can't back out of it (at least not yet). Plus it's soft and easy to use. It also doesn't rub like some other harnesses have because it fits the center of her chest and not against the top of her legs. My only complaints are that the straps could be a little thicker and the plastic parts the straps latch onto move around and are hard to get a hold of on a dog with a thick coat.

Anyone with a pug probably has encountered the same issue I have where no harness fits the neck AND chest and if your pugs pulls on a leash like mine does, a simple collar is out of the question. Every harness is either too large in the neck and too tight in the chest or vice versa. This Gooby harness caught my eye because the "v-neck" didn't go all the way to his throat like his other harness and would allow a little extra space for all the extra neck rolls. (He's a puller so he would always choke himself on walks because his old harness wasn't compatible with his Elizabethan neck lol) As soon as I put this one on him it I was thrilled. It fit him perfectly, is super easy to put on and take off, and now he can bark and pull without choking himself and giving me a heart attack. The shoulder straps are nicely padded as well. I immediately sent a link to my mom for her own pug. The only thing I dont like is the buckle can't be done and undone with one hand like I'm used to but that's just personal preference. As long as my boy is comfy and safe, I can deal with the weird slide buckle.

It's great for them to grow into as it is adjustable and the sizing chart for this brand is also spot on. I've been buying the Gooby brand for about a decade ish and I highly recommend it to everyone. Strong, secure, durable.

My pug really didn't like the harness that was given to us with her upon adoption, it was a little tight going over her head and only had one buckle (so one leg always had to be folded up through the closed arm hole) and she hated the process to the point where she had to be captured to go on walks. Even when on, her old harness still went up a little higher than I'd like on her neck, and I knew I was going to need to replace it. This harness is SO nice. Not tight over her head or neck, slips over like a dream and doesn't squish her face or big head. Two super easy to secure buckles means she doesn't have to fold up her arm at all. I'm so glad I bought this.
