They are POM Plastic Leash Rings. This is the same material used in seat belt buckles. Both lightweight and extremely durable.

This is so easy to use - I particularly like the step in feature. The harness I was using before was difficult to put on and more importantly - did not keep her

This is so easy to use - I particularly like the step in feature. The harness I was using before was difficult to put on and more importantly - did not keep her from escaping. She would get tangled in it also, to the point where I thought that I would need to cut her out of it to avoid hurting her. This GOOBY harness is a dream. Not once has she been able to get out of it - though there have been many attempts. It does not get tangled either. It is soft, so no digging in. The price is so reasonable that I had my doubts - but I love it! Go ahead - try one - you won't be sorry!

Works well for my dog

I will say, I do really like this harness. It works great and fits my dog perfectly. But, my dog is only 10 months and I am on the third one, not because of size,

I will say, I do really like this harness. It works great and fits my dog perfectly. But, my dog is only 10 months and I am on the third one, not because of size, but because the fabric at the hooking areas wears out and starts to rip. The two plastic hooking areas are also very small and often difficult to hook up the dog with a larger size leash.

Callie could not back out of this harness

Works well. We adopted a senior beagle that was afraid of everything. the first harness we bought didn't stay on if she backed up. Callie is a tri colored beagle

Works well. We adopted a senior beagle that was afraid of everything. the first harness we bought didn't stay on if she backed up. Callie is a tri colored beagle so that being said she has black fur on her back. the black straps and buckle are hard to see in the evening when you harness her up. an improvement would be a lighter colored strap or buckle

Like, these are good for Pomeranians but if you have a Weimar dog, try something else, that sort of thing. Again the product was well made and as advertised, but it didn’t work for my little devil

I bought this a few years ago and really regret it. I have a Havanese dog which I keep his hair short for easy management. Anyway, even with short hair, his hair gets caught on the upper loop as there are no fabric to protect under that loop. He hates wearing this harness, and runs away every time I'm holding it. There is a new improved version of this harness that has the protective fabric.
