The sweater is much bigger than the website says it should be. Mine came with a size chart on the tag that does not match the listed size chart whatsoever.

In LOVE with this fleece vest

I purchase A LOT of jackets, sweatshirts , sweaters , for my dog because she is picky & I am picky and she is long so a lot of the time things are too short or too

I purchase A LOT of jackets, sweatshirts , sweaters , for my dog because she is picky & I am picky and she is long so a lot of the time things are too short or too big in the chest. This fits PERFECT. I have a papillon who is 10 pounds and I purchased a Medium. It is snug and is the whole length of her back. I also love the leash hook already attached to the vest. I could tell she enjoyed not having a harness on underneath her sweater like usual, she was walking as though she felt very free. Material is great , I’m ordering a second one Incase the other one gets muddy etc.

Incorrect sizing

So I used the size chart on the Chewy website. My dog measures 17” around his chest so I ordered the XL. When I received the best, the tag has different sizing

So I used the size chart on the Chewy website. My dog measures 17” around his chest so I ordered the XL. When I received the best, the tag has different sizing than the Chewy website. I thought all this time I’ve been ordering the wrong size on different clothing, but now I know the websites’ information could be wrong. I took a picture of the tag next to the size chart online attached. My dog should be in a Medium maybe.The vest itself seems nice, but I won’t know until I reorder one that fits my dog.

Size Down, runs extra loose

I was super excited to get some cozy fleece for my large doxie mix, but based on the size charts was worried everything would be too small. NOT THE CASE. the XL,

I was super excited to get some cozy fleece for my large doxie mix, but based on the size charts was worried everything would be too small. NOT THE CASE. the XL, which is flagged as appropriate for dachshunds (which are usually much smaller than my own pup) is way too big for her, especially as it’s meant to double as a harness. The vest is hanging off of her. It’s unfortunate, as they’re sold out of a size down. Guess this is going in the trash.

We have a bunch of these sweaters in different colors so she always has a clean one. I prefer the hoodie ones as opposed to the pullover ones just because they are a little longer and keep her warmer.

This sweater is our fav! For an apartment living family, located in a very cold region of the country, this fleece hoodie is one of the most essential items that we could have purchased for our fur child. Incredibly easy to slip on and off, with a hood that folds back (as to not cover his eyes), and easily washable. Most importantly is the exterior, and very secure D ring. This feature allows us to clip his leash directly to the hoodie rather than using an extra harness or collar. Highly recommended!! We have a 3 month old Boston Terrier (who has weighed 9-12lbs during this time) and the Medium is perfect.

These are great little hoodies for my pups. The material is so soft and the attached leash hardware is great if your dogs are good leash walkers. The shirt itself is a little longer than other ones I've see which works well since my doggos have longer bodies. One thing to be aware of - the hood is much more voluminous than I've seen on other hoodies.
