I received my egg cleaner a few days ago, but of course my birds were doing a good job of keeping their eggs clean. Today, i was able to find a dirty egg to test out. The product wasn’t greasy or soapy and easily cleaned the egg. What i wasn’t sure about were the ingredients which weren’t listed anywhere on the bottle. As I collect several eggs with 30+ hens…I typically store on the cool counter, no need to refrigerate. I am curious to see if this will deteriorate the natural bloom on the shell which keeps the eggs fresh for over 30 days. I plan to keep the “cleaned eggs” in a separate carton to test the theory. Would have given 5 stars if i knew what the ingredients of the cleaner were.
Not impressed

I own a happy little flock of hens that occasionally decide to sleep in the nesting box instead of roosting on the plentiful roosting bars… this creates a mess when I go to gather eggs the next morning as the ladies poop on the eggs all night! Typically we feed the soiled eggs to the dogs, but I thought to give this egg wash a try so we could use the eggs ourselves. No ingredients are listed on the bottle so I had to do my own research as to what I was using. I did appreciate the safe and natural ingredients, however, the wash didn’t seem to make any difference in comparison to water when used according to directions. I think I will stick with water as it seems to work just fine.
I'm still on the fence about this product.

I'm not sure this is an entirely necessary product as i've never had an issue, washing an egg with water. But this product does definitely work. Like I said, about the same as washing with water. I'm not sure that I can justify spending money when the product works just as well as water and does not give an ingredient list. I'm not entirely sure I'd recommend this product. As I can't really see a clear benefit of using this over water To wash your eggs. No ingredient list is a really big downfall, to me. It says, non-toxic, natural and eco-friendly but with no ingredient list, there's no way to check
Cleans the eggs nicely
It does what it is supposed to. It doesn’t seem to be anything spectacular but I really do love that it’s just simple ingredients and no harsh chemicals. I usually
It does what it is supposed to. It doesn’t seem to be anything spectacular but I really do love that it’s just simple ingredients and no harsh chemicals. I usually keep the bloom on my eggs but when I gift them to coworkers, I like to make sure they are clean and presentable. This spray does the trick!
Maybe a bit better than water….?
I am not sure I can honestly tell if it is much better than just using plain water… I give it three stars because it may be a little bit better but not significantly
I am not sure I can honestly tell if it is much better than just using plain water… I give it three stars because it may be a little bit better but not significantly. You still need to rinse the eggs thoroughly and I found that, although it took off some of the initial bits and pieces, the remaining grub only came off when I rinsed the eggs with water, no matter how long I rubbed them with the egg wash.
Eggtastic beautiful clean eggs!
Fresh eggs daily are wonderful but cleaning off poop and other debris is not. Chewy started selling this gem of a product to make cleaning eggs a snap. A few squirts

Perfect wash
Love this product! The packaging was secure and no leakage, and the product itself worked wonderfully to clean my eggs. My hens are messy and love to lay in dirty
Love this product! The packaging was secure and no leakage, and the product itself worked wonderfully to clean my eggs. My hens are messy and love to lay in dirty areas, so it’s nice having this wash on hand when I share eggs with family and friends. Makes a huge difference!
Not a bad product, but gimmicky
This product cleans your dirty eggs with only two natural ingredients. It is easy to use. Personally, I don‘t see the advantage, though, and get the same result

Good, but not necessary
We have never used anything to clean eggs until just prior to cooking to maintain the quality, so while the idea of the product in theory is good, it goes against
We have never used anything to clean eggs until just prior to cooking to maintain the quality, so while the idea of the product in theory is good, it goes against all standards of not washing off the protective natural coatings of your eggs.
Clean them eggies!

Great product and easy to use. My girls lay a lot of eggs, and I like to use this to clean them. It's easy and quick to use. They don't use harsh chemicals like bleach pr alcohol so your eggs aren't absorbing that nasty stuff.
