Hit or Miss
I’ve had good luck with this hay in the past, so I was happy to stock up during the most recent sale. Unfortunately the hay is very thin, short, and like lawn clippings
I’ve had good luck with this hay in the past, so I was happy to stock up during the most recent sale. Unfortunately the hay is very thin, short, and like lawn clippings. Other hay brands that I’ve purchased have long, leafy strands of hay and lots of seed heads that my guinea pigs enjoy. I’m regretting purchasing three boxes of this hay because I think most of it is going to be wasted because my guinea pigs don’t seem very interested in it. It’s been very hard to find a hay company that produces consistently good hay.
Not good
I had high hopes for this hay. Unfortunately it was mostly inedible for my pets. Yellow stems and extremely dusty. Very disappointing.

Never had a bad experience with this hay. Has less straw and dust, buns choose it over other brands. Wish it was a tad cheaper but it goes on sale pretty frequently

I like that it is compressed and the last few times I have gotten it the hay seems a decent quality. The pieces are a bit small so if you use a hanging metal basket
I like that it is compressed and the last few times I have gotten it the hay seems a decent quality. The pieces are a bit small so if you use a hanging metal basket feeder, put a bowl or something under it to catch all the pieces. I am finding it more efficient to feed this hay in a bowl instead to avoid all the waste. I also recommend fluffing it out in a larger bag to avoid waste too - I seem to go through this more quickly than 10lbs of uncompressed hay.

Couple years back I bought a grandpa's Best hay and that was really good hey we smelled good looked good nice and fresh My guinea pig's attack it waited a couple years now I'm back buying it again about a 10-punk back excuse me 10 lb box out of out of the gate because I forgot to give me a good hay it smelled absolutely beautiful the smell is great I was I was encouraged by this as soon as I open up get the bails off and I'm almost at the haze very very dry and starlight no dust zero dust so far and on anticipate any either but a really dry so I've heard this from other brands too that they have the same kind of hey there hey is very very dry too but they have a lot of dust this had no dust but I tried to get with my guinea pigs they basically stuck their nose up at it I bought the same excuse me I thought the from the store I bought some oxbow hay store hay they loved it they ate it all the time now it must be a bad hay season for everybody because different brands are saying the same thing about their hay which tells me what I've always guessed before they basically everybody gets to hay from the same supplier that just put a different sticker on it I hope it gets better that truly they're so great I love them to death The customer service is superb they agreed to send me a whole new one 5 lb 5 lb pack to me to my amazement they didn't ask for it back they just wanted to send me another one I was amazed and I was grateful for that so maybe the second batch will be better than the first patch and if it does believe me my two star golf probably to a five-star if it's like it used to be

My bunnies absolutely love this hay. I had been purchasing huge bales of hay and it was hard to store and very low grade and DUSTY! Grandpa solved my problem. Easier
My bunnies absolutely love this hay. I had been purchasing huge bales of hay and it was hard to store and very low grade and DUSTY! Grandpa solved my problem. Easier to handle smaller bales and very clean. No dust and no waste. Every blade is edible. Thank you Grandpa!
