Why is garlic an ingredient? Garlic is toxic for cats. It worries me even though it is the last ingredient.

Answer by ChewySep 04, 2020
Trace amounts of garlic in pet food can actually have some positive effects on your pet. In fact, a tiny amount of garlic in their food is said to help prevent blood clots, lower cholesterol and act as a flea and tick repellent (garlic in your pet builds up over the course of a few weeks and seeps into the oil of their coat).

Will this help to relieve chronic constipation in cats ?

Answer by ChewyJun 27, 2021
With regular use this promotes healthy skin and coat, reduces bad breath, improves digestion and restores energy levels.

Answer by ChewyJan 02, 2021
Diuretic in nature, barley water helps to flush toxins from the kidneys by creating bladder pressure and increasing the frequency of urination. It helps maintain the pH levels in the body, making it alkaline, preventing various urinary tract issues, including kidney stones.

My cat is allergic to soybeans I see soybean oil is an ingredient would this product be ok for her?

Due to your pet's allergy, we recommend consulting with your vet to determine the safest supplement to give.

Barley Cat Grass satisfies my indoor cat.

When you can't buy cat grass at the store, or when you get tired of the flies and gnats from the cat grass you bought at the store, treat your cat(s) to Barley Cat Grass. Lightly sprinkle it on your cat's food and see how much they enjoy it. I've been feeding this to my cat for years.

This is great stuff and so far haven't had a cat that didn't like it. There's a few ingredients in it that aren't really necessary, they're fillers as opposed to having more barley, hence why only 3 stars, but overall is a good product.

Barley is high nutrition.

Adding more quality nutrients to your pet's food is a plus.

I bought this for my indoor cat who didn't seem interested in cat grass but is interested in the houseplants; so far she likes eating it, I sprinkle some on her Churu treats three times a week, and when I put it on hard food she ate it too; no adverse reactions. Not sure if the houseplants have gotten less attention from her, but I'm glad she's taken to the green sprinkles.

I sprinkle this on my cat's food every day. I give her slightly less than a half teaspoon. She licks it off first before eating her food. She's an indoor cat so doesn't eat grass outside. This provides her with the minerals she needs.
