Is this just for first aid or can it be used daily for dry paw pads as well?

This salve has a variety of uses and helps temporarily relieve symptoms associated with frostbite, cuts, scrapes, blisters, abrasions, irritations, rashes, cracked paws, dry noses and insect bites. The herbs, oils, and beeswax are ideal for absorbing into skin, but may take a second longer to soak in. Use as much as you think you might need. If you need more, use more.

Is it safe for dog to ingest this product.

This first aid is not meant for consumption. This product is supposed to heal cuts and skin irritations.

This stuff is wonderful on any minor wounds that want a thin protective layer. It certainly seems to promote rapid healing. Labeled for dogs but I use on my horse

I originally bought this for pets. However, I had a bug bite from yesterday on my forearm that was driving me crazy this morning. The tin was on the table as I walked by, and I thought, "Why not?" So, I tried it on myself. A couple of hours later, I realized that the bite had not bothered me since. Highly recommend!

I don't trust homeopathy claims further than I can throw them, generally, but this works well for my dog's nasty skin allergies in concert with his oral meds. I don't know if it's the plant extracts or just the texture of the ointment, but it's harder to rub off than the billion other moisturizers I've used on him and seems to sooth flare-ups quite effectively.
