Keeps the grunge down

Our dogs are inside and outside all the time, and the covers are a convenient way to keep the pads from getting gross and grungy. The covers being washer safe helps

Not a fan

I don't know if he didn't get it that it is cooling or the cooling doesn't function or else isn't enough to notice. We have a brilliant Border Collie who is quick

I don't know if he didn't get it that it is cooling or the cooling doesn't function or else isn't enough to notice. We have a brilliant Border Collie who is quick to figure out things but wouldn't use this pad unless I put a faux fur blanket on top and of course that makes no sense if you are trying to provide a cooling area for your pup. Not a fan.

Purchased for my dog who tends to be hot in her crate

Comfortable cover for cooling pad

My pup didn’t like sitting, standing, or lying directly on the cooling mat I bought her, even when she was hot. With this cover on top, she is happy to use the mat

My pup didn’t like sitting, standing, or lying directly on the cooling mat I bought her, even when she was hot. With this cover on top, she is happy to use the mat now. Adding a layer of fabric on top makes the material less slippery and slightly less cool to the touch, and I think she prefers that. It’s thin material so she still gets the cooling benefit. I bought two and have washed and dried them and they still fit the mat fine, no shrinkage, holes or untimely wear.

Misleading

This listing needs to be better written. Looking at other reviews I am glad I am not the only one who assumed this was the actual cooling mat. I live in an area

This listing needs to be better written. Looking at other reviews I am glad I am not the only one who assumed this was the actual cooling mat. I live in an area where AC is not common and its been an uncomfortable summer for my cat. I was hoping to give him some relief and a regular spot that is cool. But now I have to wait even longer for the actual cooling mat to come. Its been averaging 90 degrees F. Really disappointed.

This pad actually does stay cool as long as it says it will. The dog does have to give it a break, as instructed, but then it cools off again. Very helpful for
