Not what I had hoped for
Not what I had hoped for and perhaps not right for golden retriever fur, and a bristle fell out right away too.

Best brush for poodle ears
I've been using this brush for several years on my large poodle's ears and body. It is great for getting out mats without hurting him. It lost a few tines recently so I was glad Chewy's carried them so I could replace it. Worth buying.
Great brush
My puppy absolutely loved this brush. He fell asleep while I was brushing him. It did a great job getting through his thick coat too.

Recently learned these are good for long poodle hair, does a good job of fluffing after combing with a metal comb

This brush works great for double coated long haired breeds. A bonus is my dogs actually like this brush, and stay still while I brush them.
