This was a great product to have on hand. It’s portioned out individually which was great for throwing in our travel bag. They break apart easily for my slightly smaller dogs to try out but we’re perfectly sized for my German shepherd. The grooves were great for cleaning her teeth. The soft, flexible texture is great for them since we are trying to reduce harder treats around the house. This kept my dogs busy/ distracted for around 10-15 minutes which was a decent amount of time for a softer treat.

I couldn’t really tell the dogs really loved it but they eat anything. Although I did notice that if they had a little bit of a stinky breath, it definitely helped

I couldn’t really tell the dogs really loved it but they eat anything. Although I did notice that if they had a little bit of a stinky breath, it definitely helped with it. However, if it’s really bad like they eat cat poop the litter box this wouldn’t really help. I would definitely get these dented chews again and try it for a lot longer to see if it makes a difference.

My dog, Winter, loved it! It was large and very crunchy. I only let my dog eat about 2/3. Once it was mostly gone, I took it away. I was concerned she might swallow the remaining chunk and choke. I don’t know if the ridges clean her teeth more than anything else. I don’t think I would buy it because I’d be too concerned with the choking risk.

I have 2 large golden retrievers that are getting older. And they love treats. However, most treats are gone in milliseconds. They provide the benefit of chewing a bone without the fear of breaking a tooth. These treats are the perfect size for my large dogs making them easy to chew without being too hard on their older teeth. I love that they are specifically designed to promote dental health. They have grooves designed to get around their teeth. I was also impressed by the fresh, appetizing scent. They did not smell like chemicals. They both loved them and chewed on them with ease. They both look forward to their daily dental chews. It's heartwarming to know that I am treating them to something that not only satisfies their tastebuds but also contributes to their health.

I’ve got two large breed pups, a 5-year-old and a 12-year-old, and they both love these treats! My younger dog devours them quickly, while my senior pup, who has worn-down teeth, takes his time enjoying his. Both are heavy chewers, and these treats hold up to their enthusiasm. The chicken flavor is a hit because they get so excited the moment I open the bag. The smell isn’t overpowering, which is good. It’s still early to see the long-term benefits for their teeth, but judging by the shape and ridges—and the way they chew—I imagine they’re doing a great job. Overall, these are a win for both my dogs and me. Great for heavy chewers and our pups!

Love the grooves that help clean the teeth and also soft texture for seniors whom may be missing teeth or have sensitive gums. However, the chicken flavor did not work for us. I usually avoid chicken since one of my dogs has allergies and suprisingly, he did ok with this but my other dog ended up with vomiting and diarrhea. After it did not resolve after a week, we brought him to the vet whom thinks he had a very bad reaction to chicken which he usually does not get. Not a bad product if you already know your dog can handle chicken. Again, grooves are great and so is the size. Its a good size for medium to large dogs and mine did enjoy it minus the stomach upsetness.

Groovies Senior X-Large Treats made our Giant & Large pups think it was Christmas again. When we opened the the Chewy Box to show them their new treats, THEY BOTH SMILED!! They loved it!! Zeus took time chewing with his treat (usually he inhales them), Lilly took even longer with hers because she likes to torture her brother. The next time we gave them treats, we gave them the option to pick (between Groovies & another brand)-- Lo & behold, they both PICKED GROOVIES!!! That's the review!
