I have a moderately hyper active 1 year old husky. While he is very docile about 75% of that time, the other 25% of the time he is full bursts of energy and I can have a harder time getting his attention for him to obey his commands. I RARELY ever have to use the shock, I have the shock set up to work in a very short burst, it WILL get his attention if the beep or vibrate doesn’t! Otherwise I typically use the beep. This has worked very well for his training. I appreciate how variable all of the settings are, you can “Tune” it to work with any dog! My only gripe about it is that after a few months the battery life doesn’t last as long as it did when it was new.

I'm very happy with this training device. I have been using to control the dogs while they are running by the fence and to get their attention when it's time to come in. I don't use the shock option on it only the vibration and the loud beep. They are both enough to get the dogs attention. It charges fairly fast and it holds the charge pretty long as well.

I just started using this product with my dog, but so far it seems to be working well. I have not used and do not plan to use the "shock" setting on the collar; however, the vibrate setting gets my dog's attention. I am happy with this training collar so far and would recommend.

We’re working with our very stubborn pup to respond to the vibration. I think it will take some time. After doing more research, we’ve decided not to utilize the shock option. It appears well made and the distance allowed is great.
