I have a 5 lb Morkie, and she is scared of many things. Because of that, this review will only be on first impressions with opening and turning in the product and not on how well it functions. Initially, we were confused as to where to put the nail against or into the grinder. The instructions weren’t clear with that; the pictures were very small and “hole position” was confusing instruction. The product seems solid and functions in a rather quiet manner until the nail hits the grinder. That is when my dog wouldn’t allow us to go near her with it again. It was too scary. We did try to desensitize her to it initially with letting her sniff it while off and then on, but to no avail. On the box, it states “Low bass vibration not hurt the bloodline.” This is also confusing language. A bloodline is typically a breed, and “will” is missing in front of “not.” This makes the product less trustworthy as well.

It's easy to use, not heavy, and fits nicely in your hand. The light is a nice feature but really didn't make a huge differnce. I liked that you can remove the gaurd to clean the file after it's been used.
