There is a tap on switch located on the bottom of the handle, next to the GroovyPets Logo. Simply tap once to turn on the switch and tap 4 times to turn it off.

Can you attach a poop bag holder to it?

The GroovyPets LED Flashlight Wearable Hand-Free Retractable Dog Leash is not designed to have a poop holder attached to it, but you might find a way to attach a poop bag holder as long as you can use it without it causing interference.

Inconsistent and temperamental

I like the large handle opening. Makes it easy to keep on your wrist while cleaning up. What has been aggravating is that the light feature isvery temperamental

I like the large handle opening. Makes it easy to keep on your wrist while cleaning up. What has been aggravating is that the light feature isvery temperamental and will switch to different modes with the slightest brush. So you could be walking and have the nightlight on and gently brush it,and the light will turn off. Also, the flashlight died. I’ve had this less than two months. I’ve tried to charge it twice and it’s just completely dead. So one the main features is now not working.

I love the flashlight and led lights feature however this leash snapped and broke while out on a run with my dog. She saw a squirrel and pulled on the leash, causing it to break off. She ran off after the squirrel and I had to catch her and run home just holding the frayed end of the leash. Not strong enough for my dog (30 lb border collie/McNab)

I used this once for my 60lb golden- lasted about 20 minutes. She likes to “walk herself” and put a piece of the webbing in her mouth and it broke 20 minutes into the walk. She wasn’t chewing it, just carrying it, and it was toast. She has done this with the Flexi retractable leashes and we never had an issue. Sticking with Flexi from now on, but I will say that the flashlight and design is great. Just need a heavier duty leash cord.

So this is a good idea, especially for people like me, whose hands fall asleep with carpel tunnel, arthritis issues, etc, however, it is awkward I think is more so of the complaints to have the leash on your wrist and try to use the top button for retraction. I am still willing to work with this cause I think it is still a great idea and also the button to press for the lights is barely visible but am trying to still work with that cause the light does not stay on very long.

This is the best leash for my little guy. First of all I can wear it on my wrist for hands free. And if it’s cold- which it often is on our winter walks in northers Michigan- I can put my hands in pockets and or wear thick gloves. Then the light is perfect for again cold dark after work walks - it’s bright and fun on the walk. And it’s keeps from needing a separate flashlight. I will buy these again and again and recommend it 100%!! Buy it. Don’t wait to make your life and your pups- easier.

Unexpectedly this is large enough to fit over my hand like a bracelet so I don’t have to worry about losing my grip and Coop getting away while I’m picking up his deposits. That has turned out to very my favorite feature! The lights are a very nice safety feature when walking at night and great when trying to find his deposits in the dark.
