We tried the GROOVYPETS Waterproof Smart Barking Control Dog Collar this past month with success. The collar is effective with three different options to deter barking; I opted for vibration and sound versus the shock, especially since I was apprehensive about using shock to shape barking behavior. The collar is easily adjustable, but the leather strap is not as appealing as it is in the promotional photos. Additionally, the strap doesn't seem as supportive, and without tightening it significantly, it can hang awkwardly from my dog's neck. I also found the screen idle time to be frustrating and had to press the "home" button several times to wake the screen. Additional positive features include the easy charge cable and clear instructions. I'd' recommend for owners who want something that will work over those preferring something more upscale and durable.

This collar has been amazingly helpful in correcting our puppy's barking. We've had it about a week, and already our little guy has gone from demand barking at us all the time, to barking maybe once or twice a day. It's already made such a huge difference and our ears are so grateful! The collar took a few hours to fully charge. Once it was fully charged and on, it was easy to adjust all the settings to match our preferences. Every mode comes with different levels that you can increase or decrease to match your preferences, even down to 0. The collar comes with rubber caps for the contact points in case you don't want to use the shock option. We have it set so that the collar automatically makes noise and vibrates when he starts barking but doesn't shock, and have been using it in conjunction with vocal cues and praise/reward. It has been so much quieter around the house now that he's finally figuring out that we're trying to get him to stop barking! The collar is adjustable and should fit a range of dogs. Our guy's neck is around 17" around and we were able to adjust it to fit him with room to spare.

We’ve tried these collars before in the past and they work well every time. However, I like how sleek this one is. I also like that this one is rechargeable. The others I’ve had in the past were battery operated and it was annoying to deal with. Very happy with this collar!

I live in an apartment complex with my shihtzu chihuahua mix - he thinks he is very protective of me and barks whenever he hears a noise outside or in the hallway. This collar is perfect to help him learn not to bark anymore. I kept the shock on its lowest value and it doesn’t seem to hurt him which I was looking for. He seems to be learning quickly not to bark and i’m very grateful.

I was afraid the collar might be too small but it fits perfectly and still has extra room if I need to extend. I set the sensitivity, sound and vibration on low and turn off the shock mode.

I'm having a small learning curve on exactly how to use, but when the dog barks and it sings they stop. It only picks up for the dog wearing it, but they are learning quickly and not using the electric bite. My dogs weigh 3-4 lbs and it's a bit big on them. I thought I could make it work and it does I just leave it on a very short time then remove it. Works great, just for a little bigger dog.
