Great Training Collar

I received this training collar as a promotion. I have 3 pugs and my husband and I had discussed getting a training collar for the 5 year old male. He goes crazy

I received this training collar as a promotion. I have 3 pugs and my husband and I had discussed getting a training collar for the 5 year old male. He goes crazy when neighbors walk by or a delivery is being made. He scratches at the front door and at our windows. If you have a pug, you know their nails are longer and sharper than most dogs. Once we received the collar and read the directions ( I thought at first we had to have a fence.. you do not but if you do, this can be used in conjunction with it) we fitted the collar to our pug. The color comes huge and then you cut it to size. It also has 2 different sized sensor bits that fit to the neck. There are different settings and different ways to train. I did not want to shock our pug. It has a vibration option that works great for us. There are different sounds to use as well. The settings go up in intensity from 1-8. I think this is a great collar if you want a training collar for your pet.

The GroovyPets collar came ready to use and simple to navigate the settings. We have an older dog who is slowly going deaf and blind, a Shihtzu mix, his name is Muppet. We needed something to get his attention, in a gentle way. This collar is perfect, the settings have different power levels, enough to get his attention. Plus it can make a noise which alerts the other dogs and it has a light. At night I can see where Muppet is in the dog area, I love this!

I could tell taking this out of the box that it was a quality, sturdy collar. I’ve purchased much cheaper brands and they just don’t last. This one is great and fits my 100 pound dog as well as my 40 pound dog. My only complaint is putting it on the dog. It’s not just a click clasp, you have to put the pin in one of the holes which is difficult with long haired dogs.
