I could keep this in a particular area on the floor

Suction cup is designed for VERY smooth surfaces. I can't think of any floor surfaces that are that smooth as they would then be very slippery? WILL NOT stick to

Suction cup is designed for VERY smooth surfaces. I can't think of any floor surfaces that are that smooth as they would then be very slippery? WILL NOT stick to any surface other than perfectly smooth areas. We have vinyl planks throughout the house in Florida and it won't stay at all. Not even for a second. Useless product for us.
