When I received this product I was very excited. I thought it would be a great toy for my two Scottish Terriers, Haggis and Doogle now 2.5 years old and they love to play and tug. I marveled at the apparent seamless sturdy construction and believed it would qualify as a "tough toy" for my 25 pound terrors. Well, at first it was wonderful, the tugging and all around happiness. Then Haggis absconded with the GURU and the picture is the result - destruction! I am sorry to report that the toy is not tough enough for a 25 pound scotty. However I do believe smaller dogs would be better suited to the GURU but should be monitored just in case they decide to hide and chew out of sight.

I ordered this one in size medium for them and it’s perfect! This guru squeaky rope fits the bill with extras. The blue and orange squeaky sides give a little extra fun to the typical rope toy. And this thing is rugged! These are working ranch dogs that abused the toy as they should. And the rope toy has lasted! Buy this and make your dog very happy.

Ovilar, the Cavalier enjoys retrieving, tossing, and tugging on the rope which has proven to be quite strong.
