This lunchbox toy has velcro around the whole opening so you can put treats inside and they stay inside until the dog opens the velcro. My dog loves shredding paper, food packaging, and fabric, but isn’t a heavy chewer, so he loves ripping the velcro open and sticking his nose in to get to the treats. This toy doesn’t stand up to heavy chewing, so I supervise my dog when using it as a treat puzzle. I made it easier the first several times by not velcroing it perfectly, so there were spots for him to more easily grab with his teeth and putting a big ball inside to prop it open. With those modifications, he didn’t get frustrated and try to chew through it. Even so, he chewed a small hole in the outer 2/3 layers of fabric really quickly in a corner and damaged the velcro in another spot. It still works perfectly fine, it’s just definitely for shredders, not chewers. This is currently my dog’s favorite toy, he even tried to open it when I forgot to put anything inside. It replicates the challenge of destroying a toy without it getting destroyed, and I highly recommend it for that reason, even if it’s not as durable as rubber or fire hose toys.
