Ensure terrarium is placed on a flat surface and supported on all four corners. This is particularly important when using water in the base or a heavy substrate. Keep terrarium away from direct light areas with significant temperature fluctuations. We recommend at least a 1cm gap between the heat source and the mesh ventilation. DO NOT place a light fixture inside the terrarium. Take care to ensure any décor placed into the terrarium is not too close to any heat sources and that the animal can move freely. Only use a soft cloth or sponge and water when cleaning the terrarium to avoid any scratches. When using a HabiStat humidifier, turn the outer cap to “ON” and remove. Push the extended humidifier hose through the inner cap. Do not remove the inner cap. Check the hose is secured before operating the humidifier.
