Can you add/remove weather panels while the door is installed or do you have to take it out to do so?

It’s easier to remove the pet door and install it separately. The Hakuna Pets All-Weather Patio Pet Door is a non-lockable unit and is designed to be removable, so sliding the Clear Weather Panels won’t be a hassle- just slide them in as needed.

Does this come with only the mesh or does it have inserts, like fiberglass or something to keep the wind from coming in?

Very Convenient

My elderly cat loves to be able to go in and out when he likes. This pet door is easy to put in and out with our sliding glass door. At night or when we’re gone

This was perfect for the sliding glass door. Allows the cats to come and go from the deck and keeps the cold and bugs outside.

Flimsy and doesn't fit correctly

This might fit better for other door ways but it's so flimsy a strong breeze could knock it down. Theres also a very small and ineffective seal on the sides, it

The dog door portion is the only part I like, it has a magnet and I just wish it was on a thicker, sturdier panel.

No tools needed

The animals (2 cats and 3 dogs) do not like how stiff the flap is and or the magnet, there will have to be lots of training on this
