This recipe has a Carbohydrate content of 2.3% as fed and 8.6% on a dry matter basis.
On other wet kitten food brands, the instructions are 1 oz per pound of weight. But this is 1 can? So my 5 lb kitten would eat almost a pound of wet food per day?

The suggested feeding amount for kittens up to 20 weeks old is to provided as much as your kitten will eat in 3 to 4 feedings per day. From 21 to 30 weeks old, feed about 1 can per pound of body weight. From 31 to 52 weeks old, feed 1.5 cans per pound of body weight per day.
