Watery soup
More water than anything else. Additionally, large bones are in the can. We've opened two cans so far for our 12-week-old Yorkie and both of them had a large bone
More water than anything else. Additionally, large bones are in the can. We've opened two cans so far for our 12-week-old Yorkie and both of them had a large bone in each. If you're not paying attention, your dog could eat this bone. I do not recommend this product.
Great if you have a little dogs
I bought this version and another of bone in meals for my two labs. Half, if not a little bit more, of the can is liquid like a heavy broth with one inch and a half
I bought this version and another of bone in meals for my two labs. Half, if not a little bit more, of the can is liquid like a heavy broth with one inch and a half mini chicken drumstick and some chopped up meat with a few carrots are the contents of the can. I bought this to top kibble in the morning and the sad thing is they don't even like it not worth the money at all if you have over 30 pound dogs.
Love it!
My three dogs absolutely love this food. It’s hard to find a food that all 3 love but this is it. Good consistency and they love the chicken wing in it.

Good canned food but use caution with actual bone

My dog is on a medication that comes in powder form and needs to be mixed with food for his pancreas. We typically mix with wet food for ease of use and this canned food worked perfectly for that even after being refrigerated which was a huge bonus. It absorbed the powder really well and even had real chunks of chicken in it. As a licensed vet tech however, I was concerned about the addition of actual bones in the can. I had assumed that "bone in" meant it was cooked with the bones but there was an actual chicken bone in the can. I just threw the bone out, but I would worry about someone feeding it to their dog and their dog getting a foreign body since I'm sure my dog would have just swallowed it. Overall, works great for what we used canned food for, and I love the more wholesome ingredients for my senior guy.
Loved it
The dog food is great in the aspect that its made with real food! Real chicken, real carrots, real spinach! My dogs loved it ( enough that they were even begging
The dog food is great in the aspect that its made with real food! Real chicken, real carrots, real spinach! My dogs loved it ( enough that they were even begging for more!. However i noticed, if not proportioned properly it can lead to a bit of stomach upset, i will be taking that inti accoung upon next feeding. I used it as a food topper instead of just a stand alone food and originally put half on each food.... will try 1/4 cup next time.
A new favorite with the pups!
I normally buy my dogs paté canned foods and after getting these ones my dogs might never eat paté again! They absolutely loved this chunky, meaty stew as a topper
I normally buy my dogs paté canned foods and after getting these ones my dogs might never eat paté again! They absolutely loved this chunky, meaty stew as a topper on their regular meals. It didn't upset their stomachs at all and I really like the ingredient list. I think this is a really great quality canned food, my only concern is the small bone in each can. I peeled the meat off and tossed the bone, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable feeding my dogs a bone that small but especially a cooked bone. Beyond that, I'm really pleased with the food quality. It will be in our permanent rotation for sure.
Great wet dog food, not sure about the price
The food itself appeared to be very high quality food and the dogs loved it. I reduced the star rating due to the the can being mostly soup/liquid, and I was not
The food itself appeared to be very high quality food and the dogs loved it. I reduced the star rating due to the the can being mostly soup/liquid, and I was not a fan of having to pull the bone out of this soupy mixture prior to giving it to dogs. Overall, despite it looking and smelling very good and the dogs loving it, it is very expensive for the actual quantity of solid food provided in the can.
VERY oily. Should be used as a laxative food.
Gave this as a “treat” to my pitty and boxer as they are normally on dry kibble. It is VERY oily and when you open the can it has separation that even mixing it
Gave this as a “treat” to my pitty and boxer as they are normally on dry kibble. It is VERY oily and when you open the can it has separation that even mixing it up doesn’t fix. There are actual bones mixed in this food, which my dogs loved, but I worried about how well they would be digested. They had to go poop about 10 minutes after they ate it, so it moved pretty quickly through their system. Im assuming because of the oil content in it.
Nutritious and a pup favorite...win/win
Halo Elevate, Bone-in Stew is a huge hit with my 2 year old pup. The top 5 ingredients in the Chicken Stew are chicken, chicken bone broth, vegetable broth, carrots
Halo Elevate, Bone-in Stew is a huge hit with my 2 year old pup. The top 5 ingredients in the Chicken Stew are chicken, chicken bone broth, vegetable broth, carrots and spinach. It is grain free, and enhanced with vitamins and minerals. I feel confident that Oscar is getting the nutrition he needs. Each can also includes an edible chicken drumette. Oscar wasn't quite sure what to do with it at first, but now it is his favorite part of his dinner. The only downside to Halo Elevate is the price tag. But you do get what you pay for. If looking for a high grade, nutritional canned dog food, I would recommend Halo Elevate.
dogs love it!
