I have a new kitten - who was tiny - WAS being the operative word! I called to find a smaller harness than I was finding, and the most delightful woman helped find the smallest harness 7 1/4". I thought the kitten would grow into it in a few months. But when I went to try it on him, it fit perfectly - wow they grow fast, the vet felt he's about 3 months just a week ago. lol Any way - he hated it, until he realized he got to go outside again with it on (he was found outside, no trama) I love CHEWY - thanks again !!!!!

We understand that it is something new and therefore time to adjust is necessary, however, when we bought a second softer harness, the scratching stopped. Finally, it is a puppy harness that our puppy had no trouble chewing through. One tear was so severe, we were concerned it would break apart. By contrast, the newer one he has been unsuccessful chewing through.

The initial clasp was a solid yet easy to open by pressing, too often I’ve found other products that were either too difficult to squeeze or too weak to feel confidence in. They also doubled up the closure by having two metal o rings that came together when the leash is attached. I like that much better than a single ring to the side. It adjusted easily as my puppy grew over the weeks.

This is a lightweight harness that works good for puppies or really small dogs. The step-in design with a padded chest pad is really nice. It might be a struggle

It might be a struggle for some dogs but mine got used to stepping in after a couple times. The harness feels good quality, thick material and sturdy stitching. I would also buy a larger size for my big dog. It keeps my dog secure and prevents him from escaping easily, which puppies like to do. I haven't seen twin D-rings as an attachment point for a leash this small so that's nice. it also has some reflection which is good at night.

This Halti Anatomy Reflective Step In Dog Harness is so easy to use. Unlike most dog harnessee that go over the puppy's head this harness allows my puppy to step into it. I simply connect the clasp on my puppy's back. It seems to be much more comfortable than traditional harnesses. The reflective strip keeps us safe after dark. The adjustable straps allow this Halti Harness to grow with my puppy. When Louie is big enough I will switch to the adult version of the Halti Step In Dog Harness

I love this harness! Our little Oliver is 4 months old and just learning about leashes and harnesses. He had a different harness and wasn’t really liking it. We received this one and he seems to like it more. It seems to be not as restricting at the front of his chest/legs. I love that it is super reflective. When we are out at night, I can see where he is very clearly. All in all I would recommend this harness and will repurchase.

Wish i had when she was a puppy so i didnt have to keep buying the next size up. Chihuahua in pictures is about 5.5lbs and the harness still has room if she puts on weight:)
