How do I get these off the chickens?
Answer by ChewyMay 15, 2021
To remove, squeeze band until connected ends release, or slide connected ends in the opposite directions.

what size will fit on ducks?
Answer by ChewyAug 18, 2020
The EZ Leg Bands because the leg bands were designed with chickens in mind, so it is difficult to say for sure whether they fit certain ducks and geese. The best way to make sure they would fit the Muscovy ducks or large geese is to measure the circumference of their legs. The large EZ Leg Bands have a diameter of approximately 5/8 of an inch at the narrower end and 6/8 of an inch at the longer end (they're slightly oval in shape). They have an inside circumference of 2.25 inches. Please note that the bands are not designed to fit snugly, and should be removed from a growing bird's leg before the bird outgrows the band.

Do these fit on budgies?
Answer by ChewyJul 02, 2020
Happy Hen recommend the small for baby chicks and gradually progress to bigger bands as the chicken grows. The diameter of their Large bands is 3/4 inches.

What size do I need for day old chicks (standard sized chicken breeds)?
Answer by ChewyMar 12, 2021
Small fits most standard breed chickens around 2 weeks of age as well as full grown Bantam breeds, pheasants, and large pigeons.

Easy to use

We only have 3 chickens but I could not tell my two barred rocks apart. Now we know Skipper is wearing the purple "ankle bracelet". Ordered medium by mistake, but found the large locally and they work great for adult barred rocks.

Not worth buying

I put the bands on my chickens almost 2 weeks ago and half of the bands keep falling off.

Good for ducks!

I had bought these to mark my two Rouens, so we could see if our guesses on sex were correct. Thank you so much and wish us luck!

Easy to use & great price

We bought these to tell our ladies (hens) apart easily and we are so pleased with them! They went on quickly and have stayed on all of our chickens perfectly so far (2 weeks or so)

Handy for marking your hens

We use these bands to name our hens because they are all the same breed and all very similar looking. They are easy to put on and write on, though I've found that sharpie doesn't stay very dark and will smear if you don't allow it to dry throughly.
