It is safe for a pet to wear Happy Hoodie throughout the night as there is no time limit for how long a dog can wear Happy Hoodie. It is a beneficial safety aspect that if a pet really wants to remove Happy Hoodie, they usually can do so by shaking or pawing it off (and it can take a lot of effort for some); however, we still recommend that pets are not left unattended while wearing Happy Hoodie.

Looks ridiculous but it works!

My dog didn't quit like it at first putting it on but after some positive condition training and a good distraction of peanut butter, he doesn't mind it for our short sessions with the blow dryer. We tried it with New Year's eve and 4th of July fireworks while staying indoors but when you live out of city limits in a celebratory firework-happy neighborhood, it becomes a lot longer of a wearing session and after 10 minutes that's his limit and he'll start pawing at it. Might be a little too tight for his big head since he's an XL German Shepherd for long sessions but it's comfortable enough for his blowdry sessions.

I bought the Happy Hoodie in an effort to make claw clipping easier and less stressful for my cats. Unfortunately, the Happy Hoodie had the complete opposite effect. Unfortunately, they both suffered the opposite effect, leaping from my arms and crashing into furniture in an attempt to free themselves from the terrycloth prison. Both of my animals are usually very chill, but the Happy Hoodie resulted in unnecessary added stress (and bloodloss from me).

Though I need to replace this with a size up because it seemed very tight on Fred, he seemed to like it and was much more comfy with the dryer with it on! I am certain it muffled the noise for him and made him more secure. This could even be used if a hood on a jacket doesn't stay on and you want a hat on the head in the extreme cold. Just be certain you order one big enough!

We also use it for protecting his wrapping on his injured ear. Goes on snug, not to tight, doesn't bother him. Stay on a brachycephalic Boston Terrier excellently!
