Do you apply this directly to the hoof wall? Also does it fill in cracks if the hoof has any?

Apply Hoof Seal to lower half of hoof, avoiding the coronary band and frog. Use daily for one week then twice weekly for general hoof maintenance. It is formulated to fill nail holes and hoof cracks to help prevent fungus growth.

Can this be used on dogs nails
