Happy Howie's 4-in Beef Burgers Dog Treats, 60 count

These may seem expensive but you get a ton of treats for the money. These are better than those expensive treats you buy individually at the pet stores. They smell amazing, are a good size to be a high value treat, and both my dogs go crazy for them. I use them when my dogs contain themselves from chasing the ups man and it overpowers there desire to chase him (pretty serious if you ask me!) The treats are soft enough for my smaller older dog and tough enough for my big dog that he chews instead of just swallowing. You get a ton for your money and they seem bigger then 4 inches.

I think my boys (Weimaraners Gryphon and the new kid, Ladon) would learn calculus for these treats. No corn, wheat, soy, or nitrates - just a simple recipe with healthy ingredients. They look and smell like burgers fresh off the grill. There are two bags per box and 30 treats per bag. As soon as I opened the bag, Gryphon and Ladon came running from the other end of the house, faster than I think I've ever seen them. As I was giving each one of the "burgers," my daughter came in the kitchen and tried to reprimand me for feeding the dogs "people food." I showed her the box to prove they were, in fact, dog treats. She couldn't get over how much they looked and smelled like hamburgers and I wholeheartedly agree. In the time it took us to have that brief discussion, the dogs had devoured the treats and didn't leave a crumb on the floor. There are only two cautions I can give: first, these might not be appropriate for smaller dogs unless they can chew on a larger treat and break it into smaller pieces on their own. Gryphon and Ladon are a large breed (Weimaraners), but I still broke these in half for each of them. They aren't hard like a biscuit treat that will break apart easily and leave crumbs - these are closer to thick beef jerky that can be broken into pieces by hand (although not easily) or by cutting with a very sharp knife (again, not necessarily an easy task). Second, a dog who doesn't have healthy teeth and gums could have a problem eating these because they are on the tough side. Other than those suggested cautions, these are definitely a winner at our house.

Happy Howie’s 2-inch Beef Burgers were an instant success in my house. My Labrador absolutely devoured hers in under five minutes—gone before I could even blink. Meanwhile, my Corgi treated his like a fine dining experience, savoring it for a good half hour. I love that these treats keep both dogs happy in their own way—quick satisfaction for my big girl and long-lasting enjoyment for my little guy. The quality is clearly top-notch, the portion size is perfect, and judging by the tail wags and intense focus, the flavor is irresistible. These are now a permanent addition to my treat rotation. Highly recommend for anyone looking to spoil their pups with something hearty and delicious!!
