I'm impressed by the tin canister and cute design. If your dog has never had a probiotic I wouldnt recommended taking the daily dosage. My dog takes three and it gave him diarrhea. The first time I gave them to my dog he ate them right away. The second time he hesitated, and the third time he wouldnt eat them at all. Make sure to read the label to make sure it's the right fit for your dog.

The only thinh i didnt care for was there smell, it smelled like a chemical not really strong but i could smell it. My dog didnt mind it at all he loved them!

I have an English Mastiff who likes most things and a fussier American Alsatian (Direwolf). I opened the canister and it smelled like typical dog food. But being giant dogs, our pups get high protein grain-free kibble. Neither dog was jumping out to take hold of the chew. The Mastiff took one when it was directly in front of her snoot as a reward for sitting. The AA refused it. Now often she refuses things the first time and likes them later. The container said 5 chews for any dog over 90lbs So the Mastiff got 5. Every time she went out to the yard her stool was very loose and she had to go often. She only had 5 in 1 day. But it impacted her for the entire day. I thought maybe after a day she would get used to them but she did not. We only tried for 3 days because none of us, including the Mastiff, were happy with the frequency of her need to go and the activity it added to our day. To be fair, I do not think these are "bad" chews. I just think it gives them too much of whatever is already in the better dog foods.

I wanted to try this product on an older puppy I found a year ago who was scratching his ears without any obvious physical reason. After using it on him for almost 3 weeks the scratching has stopped and his fur is shinier. Although this product is for dogs, I also have a feral cat whose coat had the texture of straw. I contacted their customer service who said it would be safe for him also. His fur is now much softer. Both companions are on a raw diet that didn't help their conditions. This product is a winner for both of them.

I need to preface by saying I got these for my working great Pyrenees. Who also happen to have had ringworm and unfortunately had to be shaved so the ringworm could be treated. He eats them but will also eat anything if he thinks it's people food. However, it isn't something he goes crazy over either so I'm not sure how well a picky dog would like them. Ferdinand seems very meh about them. I haven't noticed any difference in his skin and coat however I probably just haven't given it enough time.

For once, I have finally found a vitamin that my dogs actually enjoy. When we pull out the Happy Paws container, all three of our pups come running. We are farmers and have two work Great Pyrenees who have long, luscious coats that are always facing the elements on the farm. The skin and coat vitamins have exactly what we need to keep them looking healthy. In addition we also have a black lab that finds these vitamins scrumptious as well. She is a major shedder and I can already tell that the biotin contained in these is helping with that, as well as bringing the shine back to her coat that she had lost.
