Hari aka Hagen is known for quality. This is really great to provide your pet birds with. Especially if they are seed eaters. This helps pull any heavy metal and toxins out of their body when they metabolize the seeds. Its closest to get them to how they would live in the wild. Best investment for your pet birds. #chewytogether #chewyteamrated

Hari Calcium-Enriched Bentonite Clay is an amazing supplement to keep you feathered friends in tip top shape. Clay-Cal has several different applications for your bird but it is foremost a great way to ensure your bird receives the proper trace minerals. It can also detoxify your bird by absorbing toxins in their diet. Clay-Cal is an excellent source of calcium and is highly beneficial for proper gut flora. If you have a pet bird, you should definitely buy this and include it in their diet. My 75 year old Amazon and 30 year old Grey truly appreciate this in their everyday routine.

I've never given my 38 year old (finicky) Senegal Parrot any supplement like this before. Hoping to continue his longevity I figured the calcium and charcoal are a good thing. I started out by sprinkling a little on his food but couldn't tell if he was actually eating any of it since I saw quite a bit in the bottom of the food dish. So I bought a little cup to attach to the cage and put some Clay-Cal in it. After his game of "let me get this dish off my cage" got boring I noticed he would occasionally be licking some of the minerals. I think it's a win!

The clay supplement is small enough for my Senegal parrot to eat along with its other food. It adheres to veg and fruit so my parrot ingests it without really noticing, which is good because he is picky about what's in his bowl. As far as gut health, he seems to be doing fine. My parrot is 26 years old and we want it to remain healthy as it ages. I think this product will contribute to his good aging health.

This clay-cal supplement for birds seems good. It’s a loose box of minerals that you can sprinkle some on their veggies or seed mix. Since I sprinkled it on her seed mix it’s hard to tell for sure how much she’s actually eating of the supplement vs seed but after reading about it on the box it looks like a good supplement that’s beneficial and I will continue to use.
Charcoal addition helps remove toxins
My bird seemed to take to this just fine. I like that this product is a good source of calcium. I especially like the addition of charcoal. It’s a great idea since

A sensible way to add minerals to your bird's diet
This supplement is easy to sprinkle into the food dish. My parrot seems to eat it well enough. She doesn't make a mess with it and likes to roll the little balls

I mixed this in with my parakeets seed and they consumed it with no issues. They didn’t seem to mind the taste or texture. Their feathers are beautiful and shin

Not what I expected
From the picture on the website, it looked like a round block that could possibly be attached to the cage like most mineral blocks. What I got instead was a box
