Feeding Instructions
To keep your pet bird healthy, the water and seed cups should be cleaned daily and unsoiled food should be replenished as needed. When introducing a new food, do so gradually by replacing current seed with Hagen Gourmet in small increments. Some birds may select their favorite ingredients from their food. Supplementing with a vitamin and mineral supplement such asPRIMEis recommended. Providing a small amount of fresh greens daily is also recommended.

Good Quality Mix
This is a quality mix. It's not overwhelmed with sunflower seeds and there's a decent proportion of actual nuts. My Macaw likes the variety but would like more walnuts,
This is a quality mix. It's not overwhelmed with sunflower seeds and there's a decent proportion of actual nuts. My Macaw likes the variety but would like more walnuts, please (there are some shelled walnut pieces but it's not the same satisfaction of crackin' them shells!) I like the fact that there aren't a bunch of artificially colored things. My macaw has never eaten the little baked things and there are not too many of those. It is messy, as all mixes are, but because there is a good bit of actually desirable and edible things in it, it seems less messy than some others. I give it a thumb up!
Good variety, but would like less grains
When opening the bag, my nose was hit with the pleasant, sweet smell of fruits and grains. I was also happy to see a variety of nuts, fruits and seeds, but disappointed

I was also happy to see a variety of nuts, fruits and seeds, but disappointed with the large amount of wheat and barely. My Jardine's has really enjoyed the nuts and seeds, but so far has ignored the grains these past couple weeks. Overall, this will be a good addition to his usual foods, but I wouldn't feel comfortable using this as the main portion of his dry diet.
Really great food with good Minerals and vitamins
Figaro my african grey eats Browns his fav so far but this is a true second.. i put in an extra feed dish since changing food right away is Never good for anything
Figaro my african grey eats Browns his fav so far but this is a true second.. i put in an extra feed dish since changing food right away is Never good for anything. i added figaros browns in one bowl and this in the other . i watched for a couple days and found the hari has nuts that the browns does not and figaro likes it . i've noticed him picking his Fav out of browns and then going to Hari food and getting his favs out of it . seems more in haris food then in browns but i don't like all the sunflowers in the haris food its like 90% of the bag is sunflower . wish they had something Organic . but all in all i give it a 4. if it was a better mix " less sunflower seeds" id give it a 5

I like to mix a bit of old with new so I did that for 2 days and once she had the new food mixture, she did not hesitate to eat it up. Health alternative to other foods will buy and recommend.
