The Hagan Tropican Parrot Food is a premium daily nutrition food for all adult life stages. This food is loaded with vitamins and minerals that parrots need to maintain a long healthy life. The Hagan Avicultural Research Institute was founded in 1985 by aviculturist Mark Hagan. Mark made it his life work to promote the advancement and improvement of companion bird care through education and research in areas of heath, nutrition, and breeding. My African Gray loves the food! He started eating it right away. My Quaker however, will not touch it even after offering it daily for over two weeks. I will definitely keep feeding this food to my African Gray and will periodically keep offering it to my Quaker as I feel that this is a really good food backed by testing and research for over 35 years. Five stars to Mark Hagan!

I was so excited to try this. I had never seen this kind of formula before and being corn free??? I was hoping my African Grey would give it a shot. She's been resistant to all other pellets I've tried. She's 35 years old and has only approved of nutriberries. Prior to rescuing her 9 years ago she was on a heavy sunflower seed blend. To my surprised she thought the little pellets were fun to dip in water eat that way. She's so far been eating them without any issues. I am delighted with pellets and easy transition.
