Feeding Instructions
To keep your pet bird healthy, water cups should be cleaned daily, and Tropican should be replenished as needed. When introducing a new food, do so gradually by replacing current seed with Tropican. There are many method for converting parrots to an extruded diet. For help with converting your bird to Tropican view the conversion guide. Providing fresh greens, veggies and small amounts of fruits daily is also recommended.

This is my first time trying Hari Tropican Lifetime Formula Pellet Cockatiel Bird Food, and I’m really pleased with it so far! The pellets are the perfect size for cockatiels, and I appreciate that they provide a well-balanced diet without needing extra supplements. My birds took to it right away, which is always a great sign. I did notice that the food has a strong scent, but I suspect that’s part of what makes it so appealing to the birds. It’s not overpowering, just something to be aware of if you’re trying it for the first time. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. The 25-lb bag is a great value, and I feel good knowing I’m giving my birds a high-quality, nutritionally complete food. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on how they do with it long-term, but so far, so good!

I waited a while before reviewing because Mr Roc is the pickiest eater, if he doesn’t like something he loves to tell me he doesn’t like it and then he will throw it out of the cage onto the floor or at me. I was nervous to try this because he is really set in his ways but thankfully he seems to approve, now there are somethings he seems to leave, but definitely eats more than wastes, so since he thinks it’s great stuff, I will agree with him and say it’s great.

From the moment that you open the bag, you know that this is a nice, fresh food that your birds are going to LOVE. Not only does it smell amazing, but it also seems to be low in dust and the perfect size pellets. We have several picky eaters that took to this quickly. The pricing is a little steep, but the large bag lasts for a good duration and the resealable zipper top seems to keep it fresh.
