What is the grade of the stainless steel?

Is it safe to pour the food into the container or should you place the whole bag in it?

Food can be stored directly in the canister. You can wash it with mild soap and water and then thoroughly dry it before replacing the airtight lid.

If my dogs were to knock this canister over would the lid come off? I am concerned with them having a feast!

The Harry Barker Classic Dog Food Storage Canister has a vacuum locking lid with latches on the side to keep unwanted paws out. However, a very determined dog may be able to nudge open the latches, though it's not likely.

How many gallons is this container?

The Small canister is 3.5 gallons and holds 10 pounds of dry food. It measures 10.25 inches (top) x 9.125 inches (bottom) x 11.5 inches high. The Medium canister is 6.5 gallons and holds 22 pounds of dry food. It measures 12.25 inches (top) x 11.5 inches (bottom) x 14 inches high. The Large canister is 11 gallons and holds 40 pounds of dry food. It measures 13.5 inches (top) x 13.5 inches (bottom) x 19 inches high.

Top is too big

I have the exact storage container ordered 5 years ago and it's perfect. I needed another one due to feeding different food to an old girl and ordered what I thought

I have the exact storage container ordered 5 years ago and it's perfect. I needed another one due to feeding different food to an old girl and ordered what I thought would be the same. The top is too big and doesn't fit properly making it very easy for my dogs to take the top off. Bungee cords fixed that but I don't have to do that for the original canister and it's an inconvience.

damaged order

When I received this order it arrived dented and without the lid! I am not satisfied at all and will be returning and not ordering again. Also it was really hard

Perfect fit for small dog food

This opens easily and fits well in a tight space. My dog already knows the sound of it opening! I bought this in hopes it will cut down on possible allergens.

Came dented. Made it work.

It’s kind of fragile and arrived dented because the box was damaged. I managed to straighten it. Looks fine now.

Not worth the money

It’s just a painted stainless 5 gallon bucket. I could have made this for about $15-20 dollars tops. Do not recommend.
