I have two Spaniel mixes. One weighs 16 to 17 lb and the other is around 25 to 30 lb. The smaller of the two is a heavy chewer, what size would you recommend for them?
Answer by ChewyAug 24, 2018
The X-Small is for dogs up to 10 pounds. The Small is for dogs 10-20 pounds. The Large is for dogs larger than 50 pounds and the X-Large is for dogs larger than 75 pounds.

Does this actually help clean the teeth as it says?
Answer by ChewyJul 23, 2018
This toy promotes clean teeth and fresh breath.

My dog loves this bone, but ripped most the ribbed pieces off the first day (didnt eat many of them since I was watching). She has now chewed the ends down and eats tiny pieces off. Is this okay or does the bone need thrown out?
Answer by ChewyOct 01, 2019
This toy is not edible and it is recommended to remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

how far can the dog chew it down? is it meant to be replaced every week?
Answer by ChewyNov 07, 2019
This toy should be removed from play and tossed anytime that excesses wear or damage occurs, or if pieces break off. The longevity of this toy will vary by the strength and determination of the chewer.

Bought this for my 1 yr old dog, she is a heavy chewer. She barely made a dent in it, before she started throwing up. Every time she played with it, she would throw up! As soon as I threw away the bone, she stopped throwing up. DO NOT BUY! There is something WRONG with this product. She has NEVER had this issue with any of her usual nylabones. Vomiting 3 times was more than enough!

Use with Caution with Agressive Chewers!

I have a American bulldog/boxer mix and a Great Dane/black Lab mix that are both rescues. They both loved these, however the bulldog mix went around the corner of the couch with hers and ate the entire thing! Hard plastic and all. She's an aggressive chewer and I should have watched her better, so I'm not saying these are bad products. I'm just saying if you have aggressive chewers, these probably aren't for you. The way they are made, I don't think it's meant for the dog to actually get anything off of it, but even the other one had pieces missing after my two had chewed on it.

Great chewie

Definitely a good buy for my destroyer of all things. He is very rough on all of his toys so this has stood up to the test of his teeth. He needs some thing to constantly chew on

Not so tough

I have 2 very active, hard chewers. These bones did not hold up even to their first chew. The "beads" came off, seemingly easy, and I was constantly cleaning them out of my dogs jaws even well after I had taken the bones away. Don't waste your time if you have hard chewers.

Not tough enough

My 8 month old Welsh Springer Spaniel, loves the bone. But like the others I have gotten it did not stand up to his heavy chewing. Lasted maybe 2 days before I took it out of service. I think for the average chewer this is a great bone.

Wouldn’t Recommend !!

Received this bone toy today for my rottie and it was falling apart by night. Not for aggressive chewers or dogs period I feel. The beads were falling off I found them on the floor and I’m sure my pup swallowed a few which scares me. He loved it but mama didn’t!

Perfect chew!

My frenchie Bruno is on his 3rd one of these chews and he just loves them! He is entertained for the longest time just laying there shewing it.

Break apart

The bumpy area break off with little chewing effort from my dog. She then eats them or they are on my floor.

not a soft chew toy

This chew toy is not as it proclaims to be. It is very hard nylon, even the center portion with the rounded “spikes” are hard. Our vet said to get a chew toy that is as firm as when you squeeze the palm of your hand, and it bought that this one would fit the bill, but wow was the description waaaaaaay off! Disappointed:-(

My dogs like these and so far they are holding up

I have medium chewers and they are short nosed dogs. These are holding up so far and they like them. The rubber part is still intact. They have not been able to pull off chunks. I would not leave them alone in a kennel with these though. As soon as they lose a chunk I would throw them out.
